GetTransfer Review: Name Your Route and Let Drivers Bid
Our editorial rating
GetTransfer flips the transfer market around: you post your route and licensed drivers send offers, so the price is set by competition rather than a rate card. It covers airport pickups, intercity rides and hourly chauffeur hire in 150+ countries.
The auction model means quotes on the same route can come in noticeably under fixed-price competitors, especially for long transfers where drivers want to fill their return leg.

How the bidding works
Enter your pickup, destination and time, and offers start arriving within minutes, each showing the driver rating, vehicle model and photo, and total price. You pick the offer you like. There is real skill here: posting the request a few days early gathers more bids and better prices.
For intercity routes (say, Munich to Salzburg or Split to Dubrovnik) the winning bid is frequently 30 to 50 percent below a standard pre-booked private transfer, because you are effectively buying a driver's empty seat time.
What to watch
Quality tracks the driver, so read the rating and reviews on each bid instead of auto-picking the cheapest. Stick to drivers above 4.5 with a real vehicle photo and the experience is consistently good.
verifiedOur verdict
Use GetTransfer when the route is long and your dates are known in advance. Post early, filter by rating, and the bidding war works entirely in your favor.
