Drimsim is the anti-package travel SIM: one universal SIM or eSIM, one balance in euros, and you pay only for the megabytes you actually use in 190+ countries. Nothing expires, ever.

For light data users and rare travelers, this model quietly beats every bundle on the market.

thumb_up What we like

  • check_circlePay only for data actually used
  • check_circleBalance and SIM never expire
  • check_circleReal number that receives SMS
  • check_circleWorks in 190+ countries automatically

thumb_down What could be better

  • remove_circle_outlineExpensive per GB for heavy usage
  • remove_circle_outlineSmall upfront cost for the SIM itself

True pay-as-you-go

Rates run around 1 to 2 cents per megabyte in most of Europe and slightly more elsewhere. Check maps, messages and email for a week and you might spend three euros. There is no plan to size, no unused allowance to regret, and the same card works next trip without any action.

Because it is a real SIM (physical or eSIM) with its own number, it also receives SMS, which data-only eSIMs cannot do.

Who should skip it

Heavy users streaming video or hotspotting a laptop will spend more per gigabyte than on a bundle eSIM like Airalo. The crossover sits somewhere around 1.5 to 2GB per trip; above that, buy a package, below it, Drimsim wins.

verifiedOur verdict

Drimsim is the perfect glovebox SIM: buy once, top up occasionally, and light usage abroad costs pocket change. Heavy streamers should pair it with a bundle eSIM instead.

Drimsim: Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Drimsim data cost?expand_more

Around 0.01 to 0.02 euros per MB in Europe and moderately more elsewhere. The app shows the exact per-country rate before you land.

Does the Drimsim balance expire?expand_more

No. Balance and the SIM itself stay valid indefinitely, which is the core of its appeal for occasional travelers.

Physical SIM or eSIM?expand_more

Both exist. The eSIM installs instantly; the physical card ships by post and suits older phones or use as a second line.
